hi coach, i am pretty new to affiliates and have few questions.I would appreciate if you could answer them: from where could i get the affilaite landing page? how much does it cost? What other costs do i have to incur? Also which products should i promote?(means highly popular, mid level, low level.) thanx in advance.
It took me about 2 weeks to start making money back when I started, but it's still possible now if you know what you're doing. $50 per day is acheiveable and one small offer could easily produce that.
I agree. I was making roughly $150-$180 per day profit off of one $1.20 zip submit until the offer was pulled. It was $250 Grocery Gift Card - ZIP SUBMIT. I pushed it to a lot of recipe sites on content side and had around a 34% conversion rate. Sometimes when you think small, you make big...
That's very true. You just have to think 'outside of the box'. I'm beginning to realize that I am... A) not spending enough on my initial tests B) not letting them ride long enough to see if they will be profitable in the long run and C) not thinking far enough outside of the box Time to change all of that. M
congrats Coach!! I think the content network is great! i myself make all of my money on the content network.. i dont even use the search network.
Sorry - My bad. On first look it seems like you made only 200 usd on 02/21 but then I saw it was just the beginning of the day.
for CN did you guys direct link to the pages or use a landing page? Would it make a difference on adwords CN?
I do a mix of both. Best bet is to split test a landing page versus a direct link because each niche is different.
You know, I always thought those little zip/e-mail submits were a waste of time to market and always focused on offers that were paid out over $10 a lead/sale... I think you just inspired me to give those things a test out next month on Google Content. Still making a killing on those dating offers Trypp?
Sure am. Doing very well. Good luck on placement side. There's a lot of competition, but there's is always room to make money. Never give up ;-)
You know, I really dislike placement. I tried it earlier this month for this sweet offer I'm having real big success with on Google Search.. and actually lost money. I was thinking more of testing it out just using the KEYWORD TARGETTED CAMPAIGNS and using the content bids only... and turning off the search bids. Isn't that how you do it with those zip offers?
Sorry I read wrong. I use placement, content, and search tactics. I also do very well on banners. Search and banner ads are by far the most profitable for me. Content does a little better than placement. I'm not sure why really, but it is. You would think placement would be a better way since it is more targeted. I guess google is getting better every day with content targeting. For zips, I use more placement ads. I've been sick again these past few days and for some reason cant think straight and keep getting content and placement mixed
If you have enough of those little zips and email submits running, you can do some impressive numbers. I used to think that they weren't worth my time as I was only doing large payout offers. But now I know they're worth it. They're a bit more involved to manage, (some offers go down and you've got to replace them quick), but it's worth it.
Man, you need to take a vacation to the Bahamas and get some good R & R... from reading your $4K thread, you're putting in some crazy hours everyday. Hope you feel better When you do banner ads for those Zip Submits, are you doing it through Adwords... or are you using another marketing source? Exactly... I was thinking the same way (Why should I waste time working $.25 offers when I can be working a $25 offer)... but thinking about it now, it makes sense that one would get huge conversion rates and decent income promoting them on Content Search. So are you saying that most of the Zip offers you promote expire pretty quickly?
Yes. Some go down so fast, there is very little time to prepare. Most of the time, you get like 12-24 hours notice. @webgenesis: I use sites like adtoll and adbrite for banners.
