Search engine optimization companies? You can do it on your own.

Many people prefer search engine optimization companies rather than Adwords. What do you think? Which is more value for money? search engine optimization companies or Adwords? I think many search engine optimization companies might cheat us. The good side about adwords is that you know you're safe. I mean, you may make a mistake yourself and loose money, but you'll not be cheated.

Also, I prefer doing what the search engine optimization companies do myself. All they do is create links for your site and try to increase the pr. Why can't we do that ourselves? Even though it's a long process, it's safe and it's nice to yield results after working hard.

Some of my tips on ranking well on Google. (I'm no expert..just my bit of seo knowledge I've learn' t till now)

Create original content. For that you need to write on what interests you. I've experienced that.

Write lots of articles linking to your site from high pr article directories daily and keep commenting on sites having similar content yours. But don't spam.

Keep an interlinking structure in your website so that the bots can index all the pages of your site.

Submit to directories after your site' s ready.

Keep doing this for a few months, work hard and you'll see the results.

Unfortunately this is true now more than ever. It's not so much they "cheat" you, the fact is there's so many people who hear about SEO one week and they are running an "Expert SEO Company" the next with totally no clue what they are doing.

It really is getting beyond a joke, you see people come here asking the most basic questions that common sense should dictate yet you visit their site and they are a "Professional SEO".

It really amazes me how they can take money off people for SEO and still sleep at night. Heck, i rank currently #13 for the term "SEO" and ranked my first website on page one in 1999 on AltaVista and still wouldn't label myself a professional or expert.

 

Usualy adwords for competitive keyphrases can be very expensive

I allways will vote for SEO since is olso a great long time strategy

I've seen many people create their second site about seo.

 

We hired a SEO company and got riped off. Since that day we have done all our own and have been pretty succesful. We are by no mean SEO masters but we do alright. You always have to be careful people love to take your money.

 

It's probably worth checking references, in this case.

Also, don't expect results in the first week or month. The results are normally gradual and delayed.

 

My seo friend has been doing it for 5 years and has always been reasonable with his prices. Why do these big seo companies charge alarge amount just for a consultation when my seo just takes their website gets them ranked. It seems to me that most people like to be dazzled with fine talk rather then get results.

 

I think SEO companies are a good bet.

You can rank much better with help from a SEO expert.

 

So true and they take between 4 and 6 months if its done purely whitehat style.

I am totally agree with you,
even i find many people here, who start thread for SEO service packages in Buy sell trade section and same time in search engine optimization section they are asking some silly question of meta tags or onsite optimization work.

i would like to suggest you that just do some research about work or post of that person before hire as a SEO. Just check their work and than go ahead for project.

 

Actually link builders build links and increase PR for a site. A good SEO company will do much more than that. You should take a few minutes and read over the SEO services we provide at SEO.com

yes there are many thing is there in SEO other than only link building.

 

Yes that's right but I feel link building is the most difficult process most people can't figure out how to do on their own.
