when you see, access a proxy or site like this : https:// instead of http:// means the site has SSL , is not a script is a certificate and costs some $ / domain, i never used SSL for my sites
I reckon eCPM around $3-$4 (that is, $3-$4 per 1000 impressions) is average for proxies. I get the same.
Eh, I'm not completely sure on what it shows... but mine is around $1.30 for every 1000 impressions. Wondering the same!
You could do better by improving it then. Occasionally updating home page content beats ad blindness. Putting some interesting content rather than just "best proxy, fast proxy, what is a proxy, etc" yields more clicks.
in-line ads? confused i was having adbrite on myproxified pages more than 100000 page views on the proxified pages but $0.0 from Adbrite cause there was no Ad , just asking to put your ad here , etc etc anyways i have found a new program allows proxies and ,... added to my secrets page of www.firoxy.info (password protected )
Happy to see my thread still going... Just want to shout out there for people not to PM me about proxy help - please use the thread here where there are probably many better experienced proxy webmasters to assist you By the way, I've just listed one of my premium proxy domains: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=6668810#post6668810
im using Zelune And Glype Glype is better than Zelune i think cuz it enable logins at sites like facebook and myspace
maybe because U.S. traffic is too low % from total impressions and nobody will advertise for China , Iran or Saudi Arabia traffic Adverisers can see the main source of traffic before run the ads on a website
guys, can anyone tell me how to add ads in the proxy pages... i read that i have to add the code somewhere in the index.php page... (thats in phproxy) any idea? -pm- thanks
yesterday i had something like 3000 hits on my proxies huge BDW usage and my host banned iran china ,... right now in 15 hours i see im having 600 hits just from USA,UK and Europe so that could not be the reason !
Looking at my server logs I noticed that almost 30% of my traffic was from China and korea. The Chinese and Koreans are notorious for sucking down your bandwidth and using up all your resources. And not doing much else..... Of course proxy owners aren't in it for the fun so.. I have written a .htaccess file that will completely block those countries from your server. Sorry to all the Chinese and Koreans but that's life. If anyone wants the file they can get it here: http://v-hosting.co.uk/china.rar Drop the .htaccess file into your website root or copy and paste the contents into your present .htaccess file. This file will block the entire Chinese and Korean IP ranges. feedback please... dalem
