Bushes - Iraq... Clintons - Serbia?

    Does anyone else see this?

I was just sitting down eating some strawberry flavored yogurt with raisin filled oats when I thought of this. Most of us already know Bill Clinton is set to get back in the white house next year, fulfilling the Bush-Clinton Dynasty. So what's up with this?

All of a sudden Kosovo is declaring independence and countries are picking sides.

First I don't think the Clintons entry to the White House is that certain. Kosovo issues has been fomenting for sometime. I guess it is coincidence.

It's all these 27 glorious years of Clinton's and Bushes and Bushes and Clinton's and Reagan's and Bushes and Bushes and Clinton's and Bushes and Clinton's and Clinton's and Bushes in your wonderful democracy mate. :D

I would agree that most of the last 27 years have been pretty glorious for America. You sound like a jealous little man bitter about his sad lot in life.

Glad you are happy in your marvellous democracy. :)

I don't think the last 27 years have been glorious for America, thanks to these corrupt scumbags running your country America is more hated than it ever has been before.

Yeah, I am not too happy with Bush's term in office either. Such is the way of civilized nations with free elections, we get a chance to vote him out when his term is up. No need for violence or revolution, just a simple vote as set forth in our Constitution. Seems to work pretty good.

Sure there is no guarantee that every President will be excellent, but the system limits the amount of damage they can cause by limiting their term in office. I think Bush has set back America's standing in the world, but that is a temporal problem.

Strawberry flavored yogurt with raisin filled oats sounds kind of fruity :D

Clintons are weak on the Dynasty credentials. All they have is one daughter.

The closest the US had to a dynasty where the Kennedys. They almost had too brothers elected President. That the first time in American history that would have happened.

Umm, no, I am pretty sure it counts for the same as every other American's vote. Maybe you are thinking of all the foreigners who support Ron Paul who have no say in US elections.

You really need to get this straight, AGS. The USA is not a democracy. We officially live in a representative republic. We preach democracy, but we do not live in one. (Gaaaaack! It almost sounds like I am agreeing with you! Eeeeek!)

The word "democracy" does not exist in our Constitution.

Delegates select the candidates and electoral college members select the president. In most situations, the representative's vote reflects the vote of people in their district, but not always.

Most Americans do not understand how the system works and liberal politicians have staunchly resisted any attempts to educate students in civics. The closest most students come to learning about civics is when they get an activist teacher who encourages them to organize protests.

We did have two Roosevelts that were elected as presidents. They were related, but on opposite ends of the political spectrum.
