Google Adsense + popups = ok ?

Are we allowed to run popups on pages with adsense?

And if so, anyone know how to get paypopup working on blogspot? I tried add the code in a html unit in the layout but nothing, and also tried to edit the html template but then get some error about something wrong with the code...

The code works great on my other sites and the popups are popping up like heck and I find it a great extra income so would be wonderful if I could implement it into my high traffic blogspot pages as well..

Any help appreciated, if there is anything I can do with the code etc to make it work...

Ok cool guess I'm fine then, I only got one set at a limit of 30 minute, but I suppose excessive means like 2-3 or more popups at the same time, or every time you click on a link or so on.

 

Popups are okay with adsense. Chech the TOS for the exact limit of popups per session. If I remember correctly its 3.

 

I guess its not allowed by Adsense..

Half of you say popups are ok, and half of you say its against their ToS and will get me banned??

So what's the truth then? Anyone can provide a direct link where google states that popups are not ok, or that they are ok, and how many are acceptable and so on if they are ok?

Against TOS. I've been having to reply to a couple threads where people have been saying "DO IT DO IT" when it's freaking CLEARLY AGAINST TOS.

I don't think you can include Google AdSense in the actual pop ups, but I can't see why having pop ups on your site shouldn't be OK, I cannot see why not. Although I won't say I know for definate because I would be lying.

To be sure pal, just read the AdSense TOS, I wouldn't rely on people's answers here, because once you're banned you're banned, and I am sure you don't want that.

you cant include google adsense inside the popups
yet you can have them on sites with popups.. tho you should watch out for popups that have viruses.

 

I just read the TOS the other day and you may not have pop-up/pop-under ads on your site along with adsense.

 

try reading the whole sentences,not just the first part.

That's good, to tell you the truth pop ups do my nut in, no one pays attention to them these days (or at least I don't). The more they pop up the more I want them closed, plus people really hate frequenting a website when a site is ridden with pop ups.

 

You cant use EXCESSIVE popups or pop unders but they dont say it is NOT allowed.

OK, so what I get from this is YES you CAN use popups, but NOT in the extreme like having 10 popups coming up at the same time, nor having adsense IN your popups. But for example one popup on entrance to the site should be fine, right? At least that's what I read from the ToS as quoted here.

the poups shouldnot interfare in user navigation, so you can use popunders and there frequency should also be low
