    Hi,

you must have a place to store the subid (ex. a text file or through a database)

then you can pass along the subid parameter on your landing page URL so when someone landed on your landing page with this subid, it will store the value on your text file or through your database.

    For example:
    http://www.yourlandingpage.com/default.php?subid=abc

So if someone landed on this page the value "abc" will be stored on your text file or your database. This is one way how you can track the subid.

Are you using a landing page from any affiliate program? because usually these affiliate network will track the subid for you.

    Hope that helps :)

Do they have to be php to have kw tracking?

well I guess you have to use some kind of redirect to point to the affiliate offer?

If you're just using a standard html page to redirect, then you do not need to know php if the affiliate network allow you to track the subid. If you don't mind me asking who are you getting the affiliate link from?

    For example:
I'm currently running this offer with viralpartnership.com and my affiliate landing page link look something like this:

http://www.viralpartnership.com/v1/track/?i=1028&p=1003&subid= [i can put any subid here to track]

So once some click on this link, I can then go back to viralpartnership.com tracking system and it will show me the subid. Most of the affiliate network will have the ability to track the subid, I'm sure your account manager can give you instruction on how to track the subid

    Hope that make sense :)
