Anyway to verify if you are banned?

I registered a name that had expired sometime back, www.freebee.info

I thought the name was great and would work perfect for a freebie site I was planning on starting. Anyways, I've started the site about 3 weeks ago and am normally able to get my site's indexed within a couple days. This site however, still is not indexed in Google. I'm starting to believe it may be banned :(

Is there anyway for me or someone else to actually verify this?

    Thanks

Backlinks, Backlinks & More Backlinks. Hell, just because you inserted your url into this thread might help get your site indexed. Worry about making unique quality content, the crawlers will follow.

If you write it, thy crawlers will come.

I think it will take some time for Google to index this website. I would suggest that you could drop an email to google about it. They may not respond to you and would surely helps to check it up.

In the meantime, just try to build up your backlinks and promote them through various marketing means.

Register on my article directory and submit an article and after approval you will be indexed in a short time. Try it. Look in my signature.

I got the same experience some time ago too. Fresh reg a dropped domain, started putting up useful content and all that. But it was never indexed in Google despite getting quite a number of links to it.

I would suggest you to drop the domain and put your content on another domain. It's near impossible for Google to unban any site on their blacklist.

Maybe just to share with you one of my friend's experience. He encountered the similar situation - google never index his website. He is thinking of that previous owner get banned and thus, he dropped an email and explained to google. Google never respond him but after a few weeks, he noticed that his website was indexed. I guess that google do accepted his explaination....

i bought a deleted domain 2 years back and that was also banned in google.
How ever google bot was comming regularly on my website but ....
nyways i got it unbanned in the next PR update.... ;)
so just report google about this that u have nothing against google TOS in your website and you bought a deleted domain and they will unban your website in next PR update.

Well there are few tools like 123promotion.co.uk/tools/googlebanned.php and
iwebtool.com/google_banned which says the site is likely to be banned.

In my opinion, it might be the domain is banned but that doesn't mean it wont be included in Google database. The earlier owner of this domain must have done something spamming which coud banned it. Check web.archive.org & see the history of domain if you want. Else just create a account in Google Webmaster Tools & submit the request for reinclusion. This way google will know that the site is now free from spaming & will index it. Once indexing in started, build quality backlinks for website & enjoy the traffic from Google & other search engines. :)

Easiest and best way to know for sure if you are banned is to add your website to the google webmaster tools... They TELL you there (once your website is verified) if you are banned... I know this from experience ...

Search google for webmaster tools and the link should pop up.

Don't think it will happen soon. It might be re-included. However, some sites are still banned up to and over 12 months.

I have experienced that before a few times too.

I don't even like the reinclusion thing, even if it works it seems like you are far behind then if you had just started a brand new domain name instead.

Buying an expired name that happens to be banned is not fun.
