Hmm, theres two things that spring to mind:

You shouldn't of broke the TOS.

They seriously need to review their communication skills and renew their practices. That is unacceptable, even for a free host.

I guess they get a lot of people trying it out on them, and they have finally cracked.

In fairness to 110mb there are probably alot of people that try to host proxies with them just to cause trouble! They could loose everything if they aern't careful with proxies, So I doubt you would be happy if your website/business got shut down because of some fool!

You broke the TOS. You got banned. They can reply to you however rudely they want. You blatantly broke their tos, and disrespected their terms.

They are a free host, with probably very little profit margin. Pay for a server and setup proxies at will. Problem solved.

Kind of strange they were so hostile in that E-mail, but their resources getting ate up probably got them really really mad.

When you sign up with them must read the entire text because the activation is hidden in the TOS text ...

Maybe you are the guy that caused the problems on box 4 , slow server for this box a week or so , even for the paid users... hmmm

Ah come on; free hosts are buggered by abusers and you are one it appears. If you run a free host you really want to )*$%(@*%%*#%* people who think 'oh yeah, i'll try to abuse anyway'.

It's free and better than most of the competitors I think; that can only be when you come down *hard*.

I do it myself too for the users of my freehost; It is not doable staying nice to abusers.

Look free host or not, abuse or not. There is no excuse for using language such as that. They won't last long at all if they keep doing this, and ex-clients keep exposing them.

In my opinion, if a staff member reacted like this to a client, I would personally have it resolved and a 100% refund, even offering a month of free service as an apology.

On a side note, this might be fake. It seems to be going to a Gmail account for a reply? Strange that a hosting company would use gmail to manage email, when they have the software and hardware in place to have it done themselves.

Luckily salesmen are smart. Oh wait, none of them are. And usually neither are bosses. So I wouldn't give a crap.

    jss4ever, you broke their TOS.

They clearly state no proxy. And yet you come on and use their wonderful service for proxies which kill CPU.

Service sux for you because the only reason you want to use it is for proxy. But you obviously can't.

Thing is 110mb kicks ass for 99% of the population. And sux for 1% (which are the dis-respectful abusers).

I guess they tried their best to provide as stable and as good a free service as they can and they are faced with countless attempts at cheating and breaking their TOS, somehow one of their tech go haywire. While they shouldn't use such vague words, their users should not be breaking their TOS. What they say about You Don't Respect Us, We Don't Respect You sounds quite valid though.
