I would Like some... if any success stories with email marketing.....bulk email...safelist....targeted....whatever I just want someone to step up and admit that they make money doing this...because i get emails all the time for things like viagra or free laptop...etcc....people would'nt be sending these all the time if someone was'nt making money....thanks, carnano P.S. Email marketing nowadays is full of spam and bugs the heck out of most users. It is a very powerfull marketing tool but it has a very bad name. You can however make it work to your advantage, without spamming, but any lists that you use have to be carefully "home build" making sure that you relate to people that will be interested in what you sell and talk about in your emails and most importantly people that have subscribed by themselves to your email list.
Paying for ads in opt-in newsletters and ezines is an excellent way to market your site. There are successful email marketers out there. I rarely see the subject brought up in forums though.
In my opinion email marketing will be getting less effective as time progress. more people and more people will only read email from their closest friends. most transaction could probably happen on web2.0 sites and mobile platform. it is the future of internet.
