Site Info / Reason For Selling:
The concept of this site is users can come to the site, create their own profile, aka wishlist, and then put their wishlist on their myspace, aim profiles, facebook, anywhere they want so people can buy them what they want. People can use the site for birthdays, anniversaries, and of course christmas being the biggest holiday to cause explosion for the site. I registered the domain and got a partner and got the site coded for us but since then we haven't had any time or effort for the site. The site comes with an admin panel and a lot of customization such as the homepage if you notice the background is an "ocean" picture now. That image can of course be changed to anything and the idea is to mimic myspace when they advertise for certain companies or movies.

I am testing the waters to see what sort of bids I would get for the site and if I am not happy with the ending results I won't sell the site. I had to pay a decent amount of money to get the site custom coded. I will also give the new owner the contact info for the team that developed the site so that they can provide support in terms of fixing ANY bugs you find free of charge.

Auction Ends: Sunday February 24 3PM PST
    Starting Bid: $100
    Bid Increments: $10

Please ask me any questions you may have. I realize I probably didn't do a good job of making this sales thread but again I just want to test the waters right now and if I do get serious bidding then I will sell the site but without any real feel for the auction I don't know how much effort to put into this. I will personally give any help I can in the transition etc as well as describe different features the site has such as a myspace widget so people can post stuff to their profiles for viral marketing.

Would you be able to impliment a browse wishlist option so someone without their name/e-mail could find a person?

I have found that you cannot enter a price in the price field as one bug. Also...do you have to download the image to your computer and then upload or is there a way to link to an image url?

Only bugs I have personally found is for example some links pointing to incorrect places or some spelling mistakes. But again, the development team will fix all bugs you find for free.

I'm sure that wouldn't be difficult as you are just looking through things that are already in the database. I'd assume the development team might charge for this because it is a new feature. Might be a simple thing and only cost you $xx

From what I remember you usually have to upload the image but I don't think it would be difficult at all to add the feature for putting in a URL. It may already be there. It's been awhile that I haven't even touched my own site which is sad because this site could have taken off given the current social network craze, the concept which is excellent and can be used universally.

Thank you for your bid. You are the current highest bidder but again unless this auction gets to an offer that is to my liking I will not be selling the site. There was a certain amount invested in getting this custom script made.

Can you further define what a bid "to your liking" might look like ? :)

I would hope for something around $xxxx but I have to see how high the bidding can go and make a decision from there.

Given I haven't recieved any questions or comments head of time, I hope my previous number didn't scare anyone off. I will still consider offers that are made, sometimes you don't get what you want but are still forced to sell so please keep the bids coming.
