Checking my lifetime stats recently, I was surprised to see that I recently recorded my 100,000th Adsense click. I've put together Ten Quick Tips on Adsense Strategies that have helped me be successful. Hopefully they'll help you improve your earnings as well.

Let me know if I can answer any questions.

    WOW! Now that's amazing! :D

Maybe could you tell us how much money did you make from those 100,000 clicks and how long ago did you start using Adsense? :D

    Cheers,
    Vlad

    Thanks!

I started in summer 2004, and things have certainly built up over time. I expect to do about $100,000 from Adsense this year. One of the best parts of getting over the hurdle is that I hardly spend any time on my Adsense sites anymore (like 1 hour per month or less!) and they just keep growing over time. I strongly encourage you to persist through the early struggles, as the payoff can be big and long lasting.

    Good luck!

Seriously, I've found that the first $1,000 is. It's much easier to go from $10,000 to $100,000 or $100,000 to $1,000,000 than it is to get to that first $1,000 a month. Do that, and you've proven that you can create and build a business!

I know a lot of newbies on Digital Point get discouraged because they don't have instant success, but any kind of business is hard work! Stick with it, and the rewards start coming fast!

Great article. You hit the nail on the head. There are no shortcuts to long-term Adsense success. Work hard, treat it like a business while keeping your eye on the bottom line.

I also agree with you about Adsense being just a drop in the revenue bucket. My sites make three times more with direct advertising than they do with Adsense.
