Please review http://www.gasnearu.com, this site allows US residents save on gas by comparing gas prices of their local gas stations.

Great landing page, the colors and feel are fantastic. The maps feature is great too, can you add the current price to the Google Maps balloon also?

Nice site - love the functionality - just a few suggestions. The blue is a bit dark. Like the header and the gradient but not the blue background - maybe lighter than the darker content center? Not really sure since that's not my real expertise but I do know that it's difficult to read cause it's dark all around the page.

The font - white on dark is usually not a good thing but with the blue in the content area it really isn't bad.

The ads along the bottom are obscured. I wouldn't have noticed them if I wasn't looking over the whole site to see it. People are going to look at the gas price on the top two or three (since they're the cheapest) and not scroll to the bottom. Maybe place in the right side?

Love the way each station is hooked to a map.

Liked the graphic in the top bar - can't for the life of me think of what the name of that is - the gas pump.

Don't list the keywords at the bottom of the page unless you're counting on people not seeing it and then why have the advertising at the bottom?

The right side is really blank - so either advertising or center the table.

Now, they've entered their zip code and checked the prices - give them somewhere to go - either the ads on the side or an affiliate product on how to run you car on water or sun or something :)

    hope this helps!

    Warmly,

    Gail

This is by far the most useful sites. Where did you get those price information from? The background color is abit dull though.

Very cool home page. I would make the hyperlinks change color after visiting though. That way visitors know if they already clicked on the link or not.

Appreciate the positive feedback. I thought the same. The prices are real time and pulls from a subscription from msn.
