I have been using XP. but i changed my mind to use vista. now in logical drive i have vista ultimate!! but i am facing a problem while using it, my system hangs frequently while using vista!! what could be the reason for that?

My System's configuration is fine!! i checked it with the help of vista updater, a software released from microsoft.

If it hangs, you need to uninstall some of those "pretty" features, and you need to turn off programs that auto-start on your computer, run > msconfig > Startup tab, and un-select some, it will make a pretty big difference.

Vista is really heavy on graphics.

I would follow jkrish41 suggestion, and maybe add more RAM if possible ..

I think that will help. Good luck.

I suggest you to downgrade your OS to the better possible alternative - Windows XP; That's what every one is doing. Follow the mass.
