It looks good and your works are nice.
But you need more colors. Change that ugly gardient from menu, and add at least one strong color.
    And that`s it.

(p.s.: You`ve done a design for a job board, and I see that it`s using jobberbase. Try to keep the copyrights ;)

Hi Webblab - remember you said "all critique welcomed" :)

So I'll start - Your design is beautiful. The IT Job Board design looks great.

I can tell that English is your second language - and while many marketers can make that a part of their individual 'voice' while writing ezines etc. the pages of your site should be in correct English.

The links subtext under About, Free Quote, Work and Contact don't need to be explained - it just clutters the design.

Under Recent Work on the left side of the home page it says "it job board design" - as a native English speaker I had to read that several times to understand you meant IT and not 'it'. Then I thought it was four different links - 'it' and 'job' and 'board' and 'design'. I would capitalize the IT and maybe either leave off 'design' or do Design: IT Job Board.

The words to the right - nice way to describe the site but make sure the English makes sense.

It's confusing that the About page is actually the Home page.

Sad to say but it took me a few minutes to discover the "+" signs on the work page meant there were drop down menus with more content. You could either put an explanation above (like: Hover over the bars for an explanation of the project), let them all be out on the page or not worry about it. I've just found that navigation that's different and 'good looking' may lose me customers.

There are a few typos - like under free quote on the right side: W3C standar'd'

I love how the site is clean and the fonts.

    Hope that helps a little.

    Warmly,

    Gail

It looks really nice, but your hover styles could use a bit of work. When you hover over them, they are blank for about 1 second while the image loads. The best way to get rid of something like this is to create an image that has both the hover style, and the non-hover style in one.

You can see what I mean here:
