I always wonder what these numbers mean, I didn't know companies themselves could give money, does that mean the dollar amounts you see are just the collective donations from individuals working for those entities?

If yes, I don't see the big deal.

Yes, that's what it means... I suppose it's interesting to see what kind of people are donating to a particular campaign... but yeah it doesn't mean the corps themselves are giving him money. I have a hard time imagining Lockheed Martin directly sending Ron Paul money... It's quite interesting that some of their employees are giving him money though...

rarely do financial institutions waste their investments. I bet Obama and Hillary are also getting good sized amounts from these institutions also:D.

My husband thinks Ron Paul is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I am really not sure. I saw those figures and showed them to my husband. He said those monies were contributed by private individuals in each of those organizations.

Paul has not quit his campaign. But he needs to hold his seat in Texas at the very least.

Whether Paul can win the nomination or not remains to be seen.

That is a wee bit optimistic.

There is a certain irony in that Ron Paul supporters are so negative about America, our economy, our prospects. Yet, when talking about Ron Paul's prospects they all seem to wear rose colored glasses.

    Can't fault you for that!

Somehow I think we are hoping for different things though.

It's already been seen, he is done. It's "impossible" for him to get the delegates he needs, he has what... 16?

I am realistic. My goal is to get more people aware of Ron Paul and pro Ron Paul politicians and just focus on voting them into their respective offices. What RP has started wont bo gone just because he didnt become president in 2008. Like guerilla has stated many times , this has only just begun. Another 4 years of obama and the american public might even start making their voices heard about all this delegate bs and who counts the votes.

Well, most Paul supporters are not hoping for socialism, deficit spending, undeclared wars, or government secrecy. We might be hoping for different things.

Based on what methodology for calculating delegates?

It's funny how the military doesn't appear to contribute to McCain in his top 20.
