GunReviewsOnline.com - Traffic's Good But I Hate Guns!

Besides the fact that I'm a traffic junkie, I'm not sure why I bought this domain. I've tried to build it into something, but don't have the heart because I HATE GUNS. I purchased a magazine to add content, but I HATE GUNS, and couldn't force myself to write.

My repulse is your gain.

This used to be a top gun forum and has been online since September '05, although I picked it up from a deleting domain list. People still frequent the site (and used to sign up for a newsletter until I removed the option).

The traffic without me doing anything is 300+ visits per month through search engines with people looking for gun reviews.

Adsense was added a bit over a week ago, and a few clicks have come through ($0.20 - $0.50 per click).

There's more content, but I removed all the dead links a bit ago. The problem was, the original site used XOOPS and I found it more than a bit...difficult.

I love guns, but you should know that Google is a bunch of anti-freedom anti-American anti-gun California assholes.

As such, gun sites are not allowed by the Google AdSense ToS. They turned off ad serving to Gun News without even notifying me. They told me that I could not run ads on almost every page of Fort Liberty.

This has a chilling effect on your domains value.

Yes thats right its against Googles TOS to advertise gun related sites...Careful or you will have your Adsense acct banned if they find out. That being said I will bid $50

 

Google is so........difficult to put into words. I've removed the Adsense. Do they run ads for paintball related sites? This site could easily be built around paintball/arcade gun reviews as those are both very hot niches.

I'll accept the $50 bid, and will close this auction Friday noon.

 

I find Google easy to put into words, but most of the words have only four letters.

I think that paintball is OK. I found out the hard way that airguns are not OK. Paintball guns do use air as a propellant, but no one I've dealt with at Google has been intelligent enough to hold a real conversation.

Yahoo's took the anti-gun provision out of their Terms of Service, so YPN is another option for the domain.

 

Airsoft is very popular now, and uses realistic looking guns unlike painballing and the airsoft guns are nowhere near as dangerous so Google should be okay with them.

 

I'll bid $60, there are alternatives to Google

Dude, seriously. You ever wonder why the U.S. has the highest rate of weapons related deaths in the WORLD (yep, we lead ahead of lets say; Cuba, China, Russia etc.), could it be that.. I don't know WE HAVE A GUN POLICY THAT WAS MEANT FOR A COUNTRY OF 4 MILLION PEOPLE LIVING IN TENTS WITH BEARS AS AN ACTUAL DANGER!!

PS. No, I am not a freedom hating, long haired, homosexual, satanist worshiping goat raper. I just have a hard time looking away from the connection between the guns laws and the approx 30.000 yearly gun-related deaths in the United States, the highest in the world! Ds.
