Adsense Video Unit?

I just find out in my adsense account, we can have YouTube video units. My question is, if we get money for that when someone watch the movies or how it works?
I am sure you know much more than me.

No it's only when the click on the small related ad link

Guys, are you seeing an error at the bottom of your explorer when you add the video unit ?

Mine says "done but with errors" when i view one of my page which has a video unit ?
Doesn't display the error tho with Firefox/mozilla

That means you will never get any click on that ad, because people watch their movie and then go away. Am I right?

The ad will be shown 15 seconds into the movie I believe, and on the video itself, the ad' can be closed or opened / clicked. Is the ad' option only for Americans ? or can anyone grab it and use it ?

That means it is possible to make some money when someone clicks on the ads inside of the video, am I right?

I think it's worthless, I run a wakeboarding website and they populated it with only content involving kiteboarding - which are not even similar (and none of my users would watch kiteboarding)

If whatever your website content matches their providers then it will work.

It's not pulling any old youtube video on X subject, it seems there is a network of video publishers allowing it.

first off, don't confuse adsense on youtube videos with adsense video ads.

the adsense overlay ads on youtube videos is available only on vids posted by selected youtube "producers", and it can pay by either cpm or epc... since the number of youtube "producers" is very very small, there is essentially no relevant content for 99.9% of our websites... it's a giant waste of time.

adsense video ads don't have anything to do with youtube, and they can appear on any publisher website.
