What will happen if googl shows result Alphabetically???????????

What will happen if Google starts showing result Alphabetically .

 

Well you will see results starting with A at the beginning and Z will be at the end ....

Google will never go for showing results Alphabetically, according to me.
First reason would be, the robots can easily recognize numbers than alphabets and can give out statistical results in numbers such as no.of visits and no.of keywords etc.
Secondly, if the results are shown in an alphabetical order, then the domain names starting with 'A' only will be listed first, and in this case PR of a site will not be an effective factor which Google considers as one of the qualitative aspect for displaying the results.
And since Google's aim or motto is "Users' Perception", the result will not be shown in alphabetical, rather it shows quality sites first.

I can't imagine what will happen to those sites that starts with numbers...

 

If it does, all sites will start with either a or z

it's funny, one of my businesses starts with an 'A' - then there's this SE/directory in South Africa, it's quite popular... anyway, i get a load of hits from that site, simply cause my business's name starts with an A.

 

Whats funny, is I once had a client that thought thats how Google worked. He wanted to change the name of his website/company name to start with an A so he could be ranked #1. I thought it was pretty hilarious - luckily i was able to dissuade him before he changed his company name.

 

if that happens...i'll use MSN instead

 

And link factor is useless in SERP.
