Places to Look For Affiliate Programs

I am thinking of starting up a few blogs, all with different topics. A major blog that I want to get going is focused on web design, development, and that general area. Does anybody have any suggestions for places to start looking to get ads and make money off of the blog? I would like to not use Google AdSense, as it's becoming less and less effective and much harder to be allowed into the program.

CJ would be good for web design, also look into Google Adsense Referrals.

Yeah the programs mentioned above are good. You could also have ads for hosting, as most people who will read about wed design etc will need it. CJ is a good place to get links/banners for promoting hosting.

If your site is a general site about web design etc then hosting probably won't convert very well. I would recommend finding yourself a niche…

For example you could create a site to do with building sites for beginners. Every newbie needs hosting so conversion would be a lot better. Do you get my drift?

WOw, there are a ton of programs out there...Your best bet is definitely CJ or shareasale to start. Performics is also reputable.

I don't think regular blogs would receive good sale from affiliate programs from CJ or shareshare unless it is a product review blog.

If you didn't know that and also take part in them, then I would hate to see your collection of your money making schemes.

I would think one of the best places to find affiliate programs is by using an affiliate programs directory (see sig or search google for them). If you then find any programs that you are interested in and are unsure how good or reputable they are then the next best set would be to go to a forum and ask around to see other peoples experiences of using them.

Good luck and hope your websites do well.

I'm happy to let you have an affiliate version of our website builder. Not only will you earn commission on upgrades but the free version will create backlinks to boost your site. It's a download with no hosting required.

The three affiliate programs I personally use are Affiliate Cash Secrets, Strong Future International (SFI) And Global Domains International (GDI).
