That is really funny. I hope the finance minister will really love it! As you know, the tax collections are utilized to run the government machinery in an efficient manner and it is the duty of the public to see that it is done as per the law of the land

Why is that? It doesn't make sense. Obviously the money has come from income of some descript, so it has already been taxed by income tax or some of ther form of tax. What justification can thre be for governments taxing the same amount of money twice?

I don't know about justification... but if you don't pay up you'll be thrown in jail. Since the government is the biggest mafia around in the area they govern, it is very difficult to escape paying them. You have to pay taxes... just look at what happened to Al Capone!
