Just got my ClickBank check in the mail today. In additional to finding the usual ClickBank check, I was pleasantly surprised to find this slip of paper in the envelope:
Awesome. I hate getting checks in the mail, I'm always paranoid that it's going to get lost in the mail. I love everything to be done electronically. Plus it'll save me a trip to the bank.
That looks good . i just hope that later on this option will be available for people in Canada and i still didn't receive my paycheck
Yes, I actually didn't get the notice either. I hope it's not just for publishers... Although I plan on being a publisher soonish...
wow! that's great news indeed. maybe they are piloting the system on publishers and will make it available to affiliates later.
You can get direct deposit if you had over 6 pay periods with over $1000 checks. falafelfro - you told us to read the FAQ, but did you read it? nadavs
Nadavs - excellent point. BTW, could you post the url to the proper FAQ? I can't find the info you describe.
Canadian banks offer a "US Account" - I am not quite sure what that means... Maybe we (Canadians) will be able to use such accounts for direct deposit as well???
I asked Clickbank a long time ago if they would do this and now they finally have....I too get a little paranoid about snail mail especailly since I recently found out a local mail courier here just got busted for opening letters and stealing checks...This particular x-courier was set up by the authorities in that they purposely placed paper money in certain envelopes and sure enough they caught 'em on tape in the mail truck ripping the envelopes and stuffing the money in their pockets
I emailed CB about this and apparently you have to have gotten 3 checks within the last 90 days for this to be available
Hey I've been in contact with Clickbank for the past few days and there's some good and bad news about the new direct deposit system. You only need to have 3 checks in the past 90 days to use direct deposit and it will work like a charm for anyone living in the U.S. BUT... If you're in Canada (like me) or any other part of the world, you can ONLY get paid in your currency!... This means that even though I have a U.S. account (located in Canada) I will only be able to receive direct deposits in Canadian dollars. This of course is so that Clickbank can make more money off the conversion process errr... So what about opening up an account physically located in the U.S.??? Well, banks won't do it for internet marketing because of...wait for it...money laundering schemes! Dammit. Since I want to keep my money in the original currency that the sales were in...looks like there's no option but to stick with crappy checks that have a 15 day holding period on them...oh well.
