What was the time span that the 15,000 visitors came? Day of the post only? How long did traffic continue after the initial traffic boom?

I didn't say I got 15,000 visitors... John Chow has 15k RSS subscribers.

Thanks for posting that. I was not thinking of paying him for a review but was curious how much it was worth it. I thought he was not allowed t put his own affilate ads in the review post.

Looks like he put some ads in your review or did he do this after he got approved?

Checked out your blog and the site that was reviewed. I did notice in your blog that you no longer own the site. I don't know how recently it changed hands, but it still reads as if it were still yours. Though they do appear to have put JC's misguided attempt at humor (re: how hard you work) on the homepage.

Assuming the materials that are currently up for sale were created under your stewardship, I am not surprised that people questioned the validity of your "unique and original" claim. You were able to pay for a staff of 16 with that level of content? Wowza.

When I read your blog entry I just thought your lack of ROI was due to the hype that is JC not proving out. After visiting the site that was reviewed, I am no longer so sure that was the case. Either way, it's always good to see an honest report on a product or service.

450 dollars isn't worth it even if it brought you 20,000 unique visits.

But getting a review on John Chow's blog helps mainly in the getting branded.

Wrong. That would be dirt cheap traffic, far cheaper than PPC.

That would be 44 cents per click. I would lose money if I tried that.

And unlike an AdWords campaign, that review will remain on JC's website for a long time with a text link back to your website. I think the residual traffic from his website will more than likely pay for itself over the long haul. Thanks again for the great review.
