Do you use a software for that? I found a freeware called "Easy submit website" and it can submit a site to a few dozen search engines. Are there some better freeware programs for that??
You don't need to do that at all. One decent backlink will get you crawled - (if you're really having trouble getting indexed then maybe submit directly to google and yahoo - that's it.)
Most software to submit to search engines are either out of date or never worked in the first place. The best method is to submit a sitemap to Google and start building good solid back links. The rest will happen on its own. All the real search engines will find you if you have a couple of good back links.
post on dp with sites in your signature ? Is that what i doing rite now? i mean with my signature below? But how this concept is actually work?
Yes, that's what you are doing and yes it will work. Digital point is a site that gets crawled very frequently - look up the title of any thread in google and see how quickly it gets indexed (every now and then a new member 'discovers' this and thinks they've done something clever to get the title of their thread indexed within an hour - they haven't) - search engines crawl the net looking for links - that's what they are designed to do. The bot crawls digitalpoint, it finds your link, the search engine is happy, you're happy, everyone's happy
Hi, Always manual submission is considered as the best way. Though it is time taking we can be sure that the submission is done in that particular search engine or directory. When we use a software for submission we can only assume that our site must have been submitted and cannot be sure of it. Also, most of the search engine or directory submission forms have a (must required) column to re-enter the words given by the search engine, which can be done only manually and if a software is used here it will be in vain.
