Checking Your Adsense Stats Daily ... You should know this then ...

I changed my adsense box to check the effect of CTR .

Here's the report
On Most of the days i was checking CTR after 2-3 hours .

Checked on Day 1 : CTR .64%
Day 2 : CTR .59%
Day 3 : Didnt Checked
Day 4 : CTR 2.29%

I have a long term report but you would notice that google tends to pay you lesss and report a less CTR when you check constantly .

 

That is just a co-incidence. Doesn't make sense.

Are you checking your SITE or your REPORTS?

 

I am verifying my site with the reports .

Google reported less CTR when i checked my adsense stats regularly .

 

There has to be something else missing to the equation.

Like I said, coincidence. Everyone can check and it can be verified as a group, but one account with an accusation like this wouldn't fly. Don't check your stats for 3-5 more days and see what happens.

Not saying your lying, but it doesn't logically make sense. Checking stats would have nothing to do with your revenue/CTR. There is a thread on here somewhere about checking stats and having it related to your revenue, but I call BS on that also.

I agree, the regularity of your logins wouldn't influence your stats.

 

I think its pure coincidence, I cant help checking my stats once every hour or so but I have seen my CTR move all over the place from 0.2% - 4% ish so its just a coincidence.

I check my stats every few hours and in the summer and winter, when I go on vacation I did not check the stats for days. No difference in CTR. It is just a coincident.

 

not necessarily a coincidence. Google might consider that you're clicking your ads or ask someone to click your ads and you login very often to check if those "fraudulent" clicks were noticed . So, there might be a catch in here!

 

Well , I must say its coincidence, becuase one of my friend , who is earning $300+ daily , he check his stats daily and he never have gone through such thing......

Day 3---didn't check.....someone click bombed

Day 4--- e-mail from adsense

so its better to check

I like that idea. Because you send immediately an email to adsense, when you see something is smelling in your account.
