You don't have to be extremely religious. I don't think of myself as extremely religious, but I try to capitalize He when I'm referring to Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and God (all the same btw). It's partly out of respect, partly habit, and partly because sometimes it's an easy way of showing who you are talking about without a long explination. You don't go to hell if you forget or anything though.

I think another good reason to do it is because it bugs the crap out of some people. That's always a good reason to keep doing something IMO.

 

I might start capitalising "Invisible Sky Daddy".

 

It wouldn't look good while running an atheist blog.

 

Could you use IF/THEN statements instead?

 

I am a christian but I realize that our faith is largely based on faith. I personally have had experiences in my life where he has shown himself real to me. However, I don't think God will show himself to everyone until judgement day. Sadly, it will be too late for many.

 

I tried it and my cat meowed in response. I'm thinking this means my cat is God. I was leaning towards that conclusion anyway. Thanks for the tip!

I really wish I could be alive the day mankind has finally evolved enough to completely move beyond this religion crap.... we'll make so many advances in scientific theory and discovery. It'll be a wonderful time to be alive and witness it all... unfortunately I'm stuck here in teh 21st century where our ability to evolve is bogged down by nutjobs like this guy.....

Evolution will do it for us

 

Humans have circumvented evolution by the expansive size. Because of the population being so huge, and the genetic pool continually getting so thin - we are close to being unable to evolve ever. However - although the name devolution is a misnomer seeing that evolving to a simpler form is in fact evolution - as far as humans are concerned I think devolution is occurring on a grand scale. I blame mass media, I blame religions, I blame governments, and I blame the human race.

However, if 'elected' or at the very least - allowed - to be your world leader I will reverse the effects of devolution and bring about a new world system that focuses on the individual having social freedom, education, and absolute control of their own lives. Of course, this social freedom comes at the expense of political freedom. But, anyways, who likes politicians? Not many. So you won't have many - and you might have none. No distractions.

No he wasn't he just let the church continue to be while he killed the Jews and the church was against it, but they couldn't say much because, If he's killing millions of Jews he would for sure kill anyone who was opposed.
