I feel that just forwarding the PMs to the Mods will be better as I think the Mods wouldn't want to be looking through your PM box anyway.

The report button would be like forwarding except to all the mods.
I don't even know who any mods here are so how am I supposed to send it?

That would be something that would have to be made into VB. I don't think mods/admins here can do it ;)

Yes always use the forward button located right next to the reply button for quick action on spammers.

And if you are using the forum, why not memorize at least one of the moderator names to forward to, most of them are fairly easy to remember ;)

Its been suggested many times, and it is easy to implement if shawn or crazy rob (admins) can just plug it in :)

Is that why you repeated yourself so we remember you are Mary? :D:D

This method works much better than the repot button because it does not go into a huge batch that sometimes get overlooked. I have found that most of my PM forwards have been acted on quite quickly. Of course some PMs you just have to ignore but if they are really spam, just forward them and they will be dealt with. :)

Yep, they don't have any access at all. I don't think even shaw has access (not 100% sure on this) but I do know that the one way to read users mails is by looking at vbulletin's database that contains all the good stuff :).

Mail can be logged, but by default it is turned off. PMs on the other hand have no actual means of reading them without looking in the database or installing a mod/hack to them.

Either way though, both are pretty safe from being read. The mods here have much better things to do with their time then read my sig sales PMs...

They do, I have used Vbulletin before as well as PHPBB, SMF, and IPB they all allow admins and those with the permission to, to view anything.

The mods here don't have pm access ;)

If so, why when I've reported a spammer, has the mod asked to forward the pm
