Does anyone know of any reliable hosting company that allows direct hosting of anime media files? I'm looking to get my site back asap

 

Do you own them? Are they legal?

 

In a sense, no.. I forget to mention I'll only be going for unlicensed anime so that means less trouble

I think I'll probably need a control panel.. I'm looking to start off 10-30GB of disk space for the first month My budget can be adjusted if required but I'm not looking at dedicated server at this moment..

I seriously doubt you want to allow anime hosting on shared plans.. On a side note, licensed anime means the show is modified by distributors through dubbing into the language of the country and adding language subtitles to the Japanese language track.

In general, licensed and unlicensed are both not legal except with the fact that you will only most likely to get into trouble if the JAPAN companies decide to take action

Are you sure you want to host me on shared plans? I don't want you terminating me after I got everything up..

Well we currently host animeomnitude.com, So I don't think we'll come into any problems

I HIGHLY do recommend a dedicated/VPS though as streaming sites tend to go over the CPU limit that hosts set in place, And you will get suspended.

But it's totally up to you

I don't want to switch host next month like what muthahostings had done.. since it will take me a while to get all the media files up on the server Is upgrade possible if I intend to expand? I actually have in mind to look for a VPS

The TechoHost server contains the TechoHost customers. We still have it and run it but all new customers go on a new server.

I am the owner of NetXServers.

Upgrade is possible if you would like to expand.

 

I like to speed test a file from the server my website will be on (Scranton, USA) Is that possible?

I guess I'll be going with ConnectHost in a few hours time if no other guys on DP is willing to suggest me another better hosting company that allow direct hosting of anime media files and with great reliability NetXservers VPS plan looks great too but I think the custom price is a little steep IMO
