$20 Contest / Design a simple postcard / payment via paypal

RH: thanks for the new submission. It is definitely an improvement. It is a VERY pleasant post card but something is not quite right. I won't tell you what it is because I hate it when I waste people's time. Thing is I got some very good entries and now with daveyBoy doing (perhaps) another one it makes it all a little harder. To be honest if yours was the only submission I would have accepted it with only a few small changes. But my dilemma is I also have several other strong submissions.

Davey, I like how you think. It is this great thinking that led to my logo that I like so much. But sometimes you got to be flexible. You can't wear a suit at a picnic. But then again, you British aristocrates may do that

Well it wouldn't be the strangest thing i'd ever done! Yeah I do realise that by the way, I just think I read your intention was to have an impact lol thats what got me to say all the stuff earlier. Hey, it's your postcard man it's your call!

 

RH: yours is growing on me but so are others. Just one thing, I'm not sure about that sarcastic icon. Have I said something that annoyed you? Please tell me because I do make mistakes sometimes and people may read me the wrong way.

You got a good memory davey. Yes I initially was thinking IMPACT, but then most of the impact ones looked a little plain so I thought to also go for something stylish.

 

Have you been printing these out by the way? Things can look quite different in print than they do on a screen. Good tip for the future if you need it!

 

I haven't printed them Davey but in my past I have never experienced dramatic changes. So either my printer is a good one or I haven't been too fussy. Thanks for the tip though.

Hey this is what i came up with for a first sample.

 

Watari: thanks for the new try. It looks really good and it makes choosing a winner that much harder. I am just waiting on sean and then I will pick the winner. Unless of course someone else comes up with something better which at the moment is a bit of a challenge.

raygfx: thanks for the entry. However, I do think that you missed my instructions where I requested a corporate looking, red and white card. That is why I can't consider yours.

@ sean-pollock Let me know if you're still in this or not. I really want to pick a winner.

 

Hey guys, sorry for the delay in announcing a winner. I was waiting for sean-pollock submission but looks like he dropped out. The one I decided on is watari's entry with just a small change which is reducing the size of the text so it looks a little spaced out. Watari's entry is very simple but not plain. I like something simple.

Sean is right. I never sent a pm so it's partly my fault. I usually keep everything on the thread and thought it would appear in your user CP sean. But from now on I will send pm's to avoid any possible misses.
