After the success of my dating logo competition I thought I would set another up for an equally interesting subject, Green issues and the environment. Here is the site: Green Work It basically needs the blank white space filling in with green imagery/designs and perhaps some other nature-related colors/motifs. The theme of the site is working in green jobs, protecting the environment, helping nature and living a more planet-friendly lifestyle. Closing date and time is Tuesday 6PM GMT.
wariozz, I don't like that so much, it's too basic and more zoological looking than what I'm after. CnSGD, That's closer to what I'm thinking, could do with a bit more going on and I think those Ws on either side of the planet are a bit confusing. DomGatto, I do like sguiggley bits but I think it need more in it than that to show what it's actually about, also the white bits in the middle are too bright. Proficient, I like what you've done with the name, and the grass is heading along the right direction of thought. I still think I'd like a bit more, some other motifs, in there also. IM3D, That's not bad but not really what I'm looking for, it would make a great "Green News" banner, it looks kind of urgent in in your face. SkoWz, I like the tree idea and the background color is okay, but I don't like the text so much or the beveled border. P.S. Proficient's is my favorite so far. P.P.S. Please don't PM me logo offers, the whole point of a contest is to show off your designs I think.
Imba.Unknown, that's nice. I think it would be better if there was something happening on the right. I'm trying really hard not to say anything to influence people's ideas, wanting to see what they think of, but I'm thinking I might want eco friendly engineering in there somewhere too, wind turbines, solar panels or something... and perhaps something to do with the ocean too, all this including the green tree ideas already put forward. I wont really no for sure until I see it I guess. Proficient, I think your first one is a bit better, this one is heading further towards the abstract and I'm more hoping for a little realism added in to the designs too.
Hmm wow...alot of elements..feedback appreciated. and a sample of it in place... played around with font and depth of backdrop a bit here...

ScarletWolfe, I like those, and CavalierGFX I like your second one too. Both the above two people's are my best choices now. P.S. ScarletWolfe, I wonder what yours would look like with some sky in place of the blue background, and a bit of ocean in the dip?
Ive only edited one Im not sure which you preferred but its an easy thing to edit the other to match... Let me know if the ocean is dark enough...I was thinking more off in the distance...
RNHalawi.com, I don't like that so much, it looks like a tourism banner for a travel site. Also it's just a photograph with the title stuck on. ScarletWolfe, that's good, it's the best entry so far for me. Could you try it making the ocean more obvious, filling up more of the dip, so it's nearly up to the working together bit?
