I'm looking too, I've tried a couple free trial programs but I wasn't satisfied. Let me know if anyone has any!
"wasn't satisfied" can you describe a little what you need and why you were not satisfied? It will be easier to recomend something. "1 mil. emails" do you own/plan to order a server to host the app? -- oh just noticed that you are asking about a free solution. I think you will not find a solution for 1M contacts. do you send opt-in or spam?

~~1000 -- free solution for 1m list adout $200--$300 per month Actually you need a dedicated server and a software to send emails: -server is about $250 per month -software is about $1000 one time fee. (you need to check if the app can handle 1m emails before you buy it)
what? really that expensive? I never thought of that before. wat is the free solution called? what about autoresponders like freeautobot? but I realized that adding a bunch of new opt-ins would take years...
You install it on your hosting so, yes, you can. Ofcourse, if you are spamming you'll need to change that hosting alot, but if you're spamming I'm sure it's worth the effort or you wouldn't be doing it.
yep try phpList and report your experience with it: 1st. How much time to import 1m contacts. 2nd. How much time to send to 1m list.
i have jsut discovered Email Marketing Pro. This software is free and apparantly there is no limit to how many emails you are sending (which could not be I think). Pros, just have a look please.
I just tried to install phplist, but whenever I want to begin the installation (/lists/admin) my browser shows me an error (500 internal server error). I tried to create a new sql database and updated that also in the config.php but again the same error. what do I do wrong?
