Very good. Bleed, skin, chop up and cook 100 different ways, very good eating. Stingray is something most people don't think of either that is really good eating, but that's more for a fishing thread.
Here is a link to a fairly good reason why I am not keen on guns. ******Link is to a page from the internet journal of surgey, it contains HIGHLY GRAPHIC images which may cause distress/offense to some people. I have posted this becuase personally i dont believe it is gratuitous and is from an academic source. Anyway you have been WARNED******* http://www.ispub.com/ostia/index.php?xmlFilePath=journals/ijs/vol2n2/gswsi.xml
I feel the same way about candles. I mean, who really needs candles in this day and age? Candles scare me. Their only logical purpose is to start fires. We don't use them for light anymore.
How many of you own or support guns, and what are your favorites or what do you own? I own a Glock23 .40 cal Pistol, and a Phoenix Arms .22 cal Pistol, and I am waiting to get my Mossberg 500 12ga Shotgun. Any of you guys go out shooting or hunting on a regular basis?
That's a nice arsenal! You ah BAD Mamma Jamma! I don't have a gun right now the police took my tech nine. I'm thinking about getting a shotgun for my home.
haha you really had a tech nine? I know a couple of people who have them, there fun to shoot. I own guns because I enjoy exercising my constitutional rights. Our(the USA) country was founded on guns. Guns have played a major role throughout the history of the USA. And I guess its also a fun hobby.
I own a 6.35 and a couple of rifles. Actually all those are from my father, i like shooting but i'm against guns being sold freely to general public.
I would rather them be sold to the general public then not. Its a fine line but the way I look at it is that the criminals will acquire guns whether they are legal available to the public or not. If they are not legally available to the public then you have an unbalanced status quo, but if they are legally available to the public then it keeps the status quo and the criminals know that the legal public may also be armed. There needs to be a balance to keep people safe, or the criminals will take advantage of our false security.
I had an AR 15 and I never should have sold it. I had a .22 LR but that got stolen. Now I have a Savage 30.06 and a couple of play toys. I got an Airsoft gun that is the green gas and a revolver and I have a CO2 powered BB pistol as well as a regular air bb pistol. The 30.06 I got for Christmas so when I get around to messing with it around spring when the weather gets good I'll go shooting. Next gun I'm going to get is going to be a carry piece and I'm getting my concealed license. Then I may branch out from unarmed security to armed security.
What carry piece you thinking about getting? And for armed security you wouldn't need CC license would you? I was going to get my CC but there are a lot of costs involved.
Here in UK even police don't carry guns so you don't need a gun for protection. I think its much better than having: 28,874 gun-related deaths in the United States in 1999 with a consistant increase every year afterwards. The gun-related deaths per 100,000 people in 1994 by country were as follows: U.S.A. 14.24 Brazil 12.95 Mexico 12.69 Estonia 12.26 Argentina 8.93 Northern Ireland 6.63 Finland 6.46 Switzerland 5.31 France 5.15 Canada 4.31 Norway 3.82 Austria 3.70 Portugal 3.20 Israel 2.91 Belgium 2.90 Australia 2.65 Slovenia 2.60 Italy 2.44 New Zealand 2.38 Denmark 2.09 Sweden 1.92 Kuwait 1.84 Greece 1.29 Germany 1.24 Hungary 1.11 Ireland 0.97 Spain 0.78 Netherlands 0.70 Scotland 0.54 England and Wales 0.41 Taiwan 0.37 Singapore 0.21 Mauritius 0.19 Hong Kong 0.14 South Korea 0.12 Japan 0.05
