@XFactorLogo: well, it depends on your interpretation of corporate and web2.0. However, according to our own we think we're leaning more towards a corporate logo... with a hint of web2.0? As for the application, whatever you feel more comfortable with yet for us it would be better to have a Photoshop .psd file with layers included. But again, whatever's easier for you. @aimres: Wow, that's a lot of ideas in one place Let's see... we felt more attracted to the right hand side of your picture. That having been said, we think you should try a different font and maybe maintain that triangle symbol only this time using the full color spectrum you used in the bottom logo. Try also to saturate it a bit more, make it a little more lively.
Hello, I have opted to work with your suggested concept to provide a bright, modern logo whilst maintaining a corporate feel. Somehow, my images lose vibrancy when using Photobucket. Best regards, VictoriaAnn
@VictoriaAnn: that is a really interesting entry. Can you come up with something similar for a dark background? Also, if you can beef it up a little - maybe it's the photobucket issue you mention? - that'd be great and make for a very strong entry
Hi again, and thanks for the feedback. This was actually my initial logo - which had a dark background.
Did photobucket make the colors look different? If you created your logo in photoshop.. well. photoshop doesnt display web colors properly by default.. Illustrator does. What ever is done in illustrator by default will look the same on the web, but photoshop designs will look different than on the web and in illustrator.
Hi, Yes I do use Illustrator - but of course to upload it to Photobucket I need to save for web use which would be a gif, jpg etc. That's when the quality fails. If you know of any photo upload site that doesn't degrade quality then I'd love to know! Vicki
Personally i dont see any quality lose in your image. Jpegs dont take away any quality. Nor does photobucket. Maybe it accidently resized, or u viewed it as a resized image not zoomed to 100% so it looks as if quality disapered when it really hasnt. Im not sure. And i use www imageshack us (dots replacing the spaces) I use it so much its now my homepage. Its extremely quick and simple . Anyways, I tryed spicing it up a bit, what do you think?
Hi, This goes with the idea of RGB triangle - 3 colors making a triangle together - this is just idea, I can work it on better. Let me know what you think about it.. Regards
I've used the proposed logo as a watermark, for protection purposes only. Feedback would be appreciated, DD.
