Who the heck are we to pass judgment on any country when we ourselves helped to destroy democracy in Iran in the 1950's?????????????
There were no wmd's in iraq before we invaded, no alqueada as i proved in my past posts and we invaded on a LIEEEEEEEEEEE. Do you really think things calmed down in iraq from the surge????/ Its from the secret dealings with iran. How do u feel about us taking out mossadegh in the 1950's when he was no threat to us militarily or to anyone and replacing him with a puppet pro usa leader (the shah) who had one of the most brutal secret police forces since the ss storm troopers(the savak)trained by the father of the first gulf war general general norman schwarzkopf senior , and we didnt find out about this until 30 years later thanks to the freedom of information act and the great patriot(the true patriot) colonel fletcher prouty who also served in the armed forced for many many years.

Where was our government when when saddam was gassing the kurds? Killing thousands of shiites after the first gulf war, then waiting 8 years and blaming him for 9-11 when we knew it wasnt his fault. Saddam was a brutal dictator but he was also bitter enemies with osama because their ideologies were completely opposite of urs. Where were we when we sacrificed lebanon to syria to gain them as allies in the first gulf war against iraq. Study all this because its true. Dont just believe everything you are being told. Now we are funding musharev of pakistan. WHY?????????????? isnt he a dictator. When will the time come that he will now be an enemy of the state?

Knowing what we all know now, you know that we wouldnt have invaded iraq before because there are many dictators in the world and you know this isnt a viable excuse to invade them. When are we going into syria, north korea, china, russia. Heck they are still prosecuting women in saudi arabia even though they are the ones being raped. There are zillions of dictators around the world, yet we destroyed democracy in iran in the 1950's. Whos gonna pass judgment on us? Opps i forgot we got the military might so its ok for us to destroy other countries:).

My uncles on my dad's side were all army vets, and they never dabbled in politics. They just ook orders and believed in the honest and validity of those orders, but if you just take 30 minutes each day to go through the stuff that is being released each day from our government through the freedom of information act you will see that these wars arent the same as ww2. Eisenhower warned us about the growing power of the military industrial complex and we failed to heed his warnings. Its a shame.

The Soviet Union posed a genuine threat. The barely out of the dark ages Afghanistan and the economically crippled Iraq were no threat to the US. Come on these guys as a country couldn't launch an attack against the US.

The acts of terrorists were criminal acts carried out by individuals. There are other more simple and effective ways to prevent these things happening like deport and ban all people from Saudi, Iraq, Syria, Iran, Pakistan etc from entering the country. Unfortunately a minority percentage of people from these countries are dangerous to the general populous. It sucks for the ones who are genuine but too bad. Nobody from these countries in. This is not rocket science.

Iran could not launch an attack on the US continent.

Statistically you have less chance of dying from a terrorist act than dying from a bee sting.

By the way if McCain gets in you're going to have a mix of socialism and fascism which isn't much better than communism.

I really doubt this by the way you talk, I served 8 years of active duty in the army and wouldn't expect to hear any of the gibberish that comes out of your mouth, all you do is play the role.

Where are you stationed & commissioned, with which service? What is your "active" role today in our armed forces. You obviously aren't jumping in line to join the wars you so much are backing up, your complaining about people not doing anything on DP, yet you are on DP doing nothing.

I can't stand people who make these claims, those are the REAL insults to the men and woman in active duty who face danger daily defending this country.

The Clinton adminstration believed that terrorism was a law enforcement problem. Obviously terrorism in a national defense issue.

Afganistan was a threat. The 9/11 attacks were planned in Afganistan and Mullah Omar and the Taliban supported it. The US suffered over 3000 dead on 9/11 and that sure is a threat in my book.

Iraq was economically crippled due to US pressure. The UN sanctions were slipping due to the corruption of the French and Russians. The US really had no choice but to finish Saddam off.

Somehow you are discounting the Gulf War I and Gulf War II (No Fly War)

What is this now attack McCain season. McCain is a respected member of the US Senate and a national war hero.

I concur. Eagerly waiting for your response.

Yea we lost 3,000 and that's sad. However we lose many more to different things each year, put it in perspective. The destruction of what we stand for and believe in, ours rights, and our country isn't going to bring them back either.

I am currently a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I will likely be a fighter pilot when I am commissioned at graduation. Any other questions?

I have to disagree on that too, USA can go through diplomacy to stave off any attempts at circumventing the sanctions. They have many choices, one of them is to let the status quo stay. Also Saddam is not getting younger, might as well let the Grim Reaper do his job.

And which member of the Congress nominated you?

You do realize you just claimed to have been accepted to one of the most selective colleges in the country I hope. What is your CIN so we can look you up? Since this such a PROUD accomplishment you should have no problem doing so.

I've sent you a PM ssandecki since you refuse to believe me... I'm not to keen on releasing too much personal info on the WWW. And yes, it is one of the most selective colleges in the country, I appreciate you noting this fact! Looking forward to your response!

Do some research on McCain and POWs. He's held in very low regard by the POW MIA recovery movement.

The whole notion of McCain being a hero and the troops supporting him is way overdone.

Anyway I don't see anyone attacking China, or launching terrorist attacks. I don't think the Chinese feel threatened by Pakistan or Iran and they're right next door. I don't see the muslim hordes invading China any time soon.

    1. Because they have a far more powerful military than those Muslim countries.
    2. Because they're only interested in doing business and partnering up.
    3. Because they have strong border patrol.

The Chinese military force doesn't have anywhere near the capability of the US. China just goes about its business. Why aren't the Chinese being attacked by the Muslims?

You really shouldn't say you are a soldier in the armed forces. It would be more appropriate to say that you are a cadet or in the academy.

It's certainly an achievement to have been selected to go to the airforce academy and you should be very proud.
