Religions all over the world!

I'm just curious why are there too many religions all over the globe. How many are there exactly?

 

The Bible says GOD created man to worship HIM.

So people instictively worship a higher power.
That's my theory.

 

How many? Wayy... too many !

Cant you smell the agnosticism in me?

 

I'm agnostic too.

 

We should rule the world, not this S-es fighting to spread their religion

15. * Druidism-Orgainized into tribes spread across several countries.
16. * Eastern Orthodox-Teachings & practices found in Scriptures.
17. * Eckankar-An ancient wisdom which teaches the value of personal experiences as the most natural way.
18. * Episcopalian-A branch of the Anglican Church
19. * Free Methodist - Follow Christ's teachings as explained in the Bible.
20. * Gnostism -A philsophical & religious movement which started in pre-Christian times.

23. * Huna-A Hawaiian philosophy.
24. * Islam-Rose from the teachings of the prophet Muhammed.

27. * Jehovah's Witness-Members are ministers and spread their faith with door to door missionary work.
28. * Krishna-The belief in the Hindu god Krishna as the single god.

42. * Quakerism-Members are active in peace, education and social welfare movements.
43. * Roman Catholicism-The largest Christian religion in the world.
44. * Russian Orthodox Church-The largest ecclesiastically independent Eastern Orthodox church in the world.
45. * Satanism-The worship & imitation of the biblical satan.
46. * Scientology-A religious philosophy that intends to improve life & achieve spiritual freedom for oneself and society.
47. * Shamanism-A magico-religious phenomenon in which the shaman is the great master of ecstasy.
48. * Shintoism-The indigenous system of beliefs and rituals of the Japanese
49. * Sikhism-A religion of India which involves strict adherence to certain principles and practices.
50. * Seventh Day Adventist-Bible is their only creed with emphasis on the second coming of Jesus.
51. * Taoism-The belief in the formless & eternal Tao and recognition of other dieties as mere humans.
52. * Tibetan-Developed from Buddhism and yoga.
53. * Unitarian Universalism-Professes no creed & keeps an open mind to religious questions.
54. * United Church of Christ-Services are simple with emphasis on the sermon.
55. * United Methodist Church -Belief that the Christian faith was revealed in Scripture.
56. * United Pentecostal Church- Services feature enthusiastic sermons & hyms.
57. * Vodun -Sometimes called Voodoo. A mixture of the African "yoruba" religion & Catholicism.
58. * Witchcraft-The practice of natural magic.
59. * Wicca-A celebration of life forces of natures with respect for nature, conservation & ecology.
60. * Xtian-An informal abbreviation of the word christian. The same as Xmas is a shortening of Christmas
61. * Yoruba-Centered around dieties called Orisha".
62. * Zen-A form of Buddhism.
63. * Zoastrianism-A religion that was founded in ancient times.

 

Whatever is that number, raise it by one.
Because i just created a new religion based on computer worship.

And yet every religious person thinks his/her religion is right and everyone else is wrong.

 

Jupiter is the God of gods in Roman religion. Just as Zeus is, and Re is in the other two of the time.
