I have signed up for such sites but i hardly find them useful....... Has anyone Had real success with such sites??
No they are pretty much a waste of time in my opinion. The only people that use it are webmasters with low quality websites at least last time I looked in there.
Linkmetro is owned by Brad Callen. He is a great SEO expert but the link metro is not all that good. I got too many irrelevant link exchange request so I stopped responding to the requests.
Use something like DP's COOP or Linkvault. I use linkvault and if you do it right, you can score first page results without having to work at it. Everyone is out there manually trying to build links when all you need are programs like this! Build your links slow and the search engines will never find out about it.
Very dangerous to use and could get your site banned. It's against Google's webmaster guidelines anyway.
It's not dangerous if you only build a few links every week and add a unique new feeds. Just find a popular news source and rewrite. The mix of the two makes it work every time and google will never know the difference. You said it, guidelines, not rules.
do not use it! i went from PR 3 to PR 0 on a site after using it. you'll only get links from spammy viagra sites.
Hi, The problem with Link Metro is that you get links from PR=0 sites only, and many of these are just scraped content. I don't think I got any worthwhile links from it. John
The recent trend is to find high pagerank dofollow blog and leave comment to gain one way link back. .
Running a search on those Google Custom Search will not yield good results, it depends heavily on how you customised the search. In fact, every link you click = sending (adsense) money to the webmaster. I can create such a Google Custom Search site in less than 15 min. Interested?
I have tried a few link farms and found much of the link request lousy or subpar and non relevant to my site.
I also work at linkmetro.com, and process only 5 links requests a week. Dont try to go for a bulk link exchange. you gotta respect Google guidelines too. Hozzzz that....
