After many failures, it finally took off.

Guess the U.S is now obligated to invade another sovereign country because they don't use the USD?

With the mess in iraq, US won't be attacking no-one for a while i presume.
Although threats will continue to fly ......

I still say we try my initial idea out. We find a way to bring doctor mossadegh back from the dead, appologize for destroying democracy in iran and setting the tables for these mullahs to get in power and allow mossadegh to help run the country as he would have had WE NOT TAKEN HIM OUT and give democracy a chance to flourish there:).

    what do u think RUB3X?;)

Here's what I don't get about that. Our politicians are following a policy of devaluing the dollar, so why would they care if Iran's policy contributed to that? They publicly claim that China is using unfair trade practices because China's dollar purchases keep the dollar higher than it would be otherwise, so I'm not sure dropping the dollar is a major motivator.

Once Bush is out of office a lot of things will change, this is just other nations upping the ante before we change leadership and start using the we're sorry here is some money card.

If McCain is elected into office expect that 47 million eligible draftees to be a very nice number to think about so that we can support our unconstitutional actions abroad and continue our bankrupting of our country - then we will need the illegal immigrants to power our missing workforce that is abroad. Maybe then we will annex Mexico to power our factories and pay more taxes as we spiral down to the inevitable doom that is bankruptcy. We'll owe China more money than god, and we will pay dearly if we continue to help people - who don't want to be helped. Let them deal with their own problems, and shoot them up if they try to become our problem.

Why should we give 50 billion in aid each year to people who should otherwise figure it the **** out and fix their own messes? Let the Capitalist Markets and Economics dictate what happens. Meanwhile, we spend our money on ourselves, and insure that no one can **** with us.

You people amaze me, John McCain is a patriot who served his country and sat in a POW camp for 5 and a half years so that pathetic people could sit in front of their computers and mock him later in his life.

Mocking him? Where have u been the last few months man????? He wants our troops to be in that lie of a war in iraq for the next 100 years!!!!!! Sounds to me like he is just a puppet of the power structure now. If you remember the vietnam war u will know the gulf of tonkin was another stages incident to get us into that war full blast. A patriot will say we were wrong to go in there and get our troops the heck out. Being a pow doesnt give anyone the right to keep our troops in a war we know is wrong.

As a soldier in the United States Military I can tell you this. We do not think this war is wrong.

Correction, this war IS NOT wrong.

A year ago, people were foolish to go out in public in Baghdad without a Teflon vest on. Today? People are picnicking in the city with their children. America is more secure, Iraqis are more secure, the world is more secure.

Past actions as a soldier have no bearing on the present political proposed policies.

The fallacy: "I'm a dentist, I have been one for thirty years, and I can tell you as an expert on teeth that we should use cow manure instead of pig manure on the farm"

Now, if you wanted to say "He's been a senator for X years and in politics for X years" then you could make an argument about his future policies based on his past actions - but recent policy is much more important. What he says he will do is very important. So - how does being in the army, or being a P.O.W. have any baring on what he is speaking about with his policies today? Does that warrant him some special "YOU CANT TALK BAD ABOUT HIM LAWL OR UR UNAMERIKAN!!!!" rule? So, Hitler was in World War I, and was gassed with mustard gas, and suffered from it. Does that mean I cannot call him a douchebag for killing the Jews? You're trying to give some special pass to McCain just because of what happened to him in Vietnam while silencing dissent. Kind of like the 9/11 bullcrap about being un-American if you don't support the illegal unconstitutional war. Kinda like the 50's where you could be blacklisted or thrown in jail for knowing a communist - except now its camp X-ray.

Neo-cons, Liberals, bah. Both republican and democrat parties make me sick. One wants a giant government and handouts to everyone. The other wants a giant government to continue to feed the perpetual war economy. No one listened to General Eisenhower... he warned us, he told us to look out for it... but - it was too late thanks to Frankie boy (No, not Sinatra. Roosevelt. Actually it was really Wilson's fault).

And all the dead presidents couldn't save the country again...

The guy is damaged goods. What kind of person makes a joke about bombing Iran by singing a tune to the Beach Boys?

Innocent people always die in large scale bombing. How is that some how funny?

The people who die in the bombings are real people. Someone's mother, brother, sister, father, wife, husband, grandchildren or grand parents.

This guy like many politicians is almost certainly a psychopath. Prepared to do and say anything to get power and attention.

Well he came out and said it. There was a story just this week where he was saying you shouldn't need a green card or other proof of legal residence to serve in the army.

That's ironic since I meant it in jest.

But seriously, I now no longer have any doubts that this guy is psychopathic war monger. He is a serious threat to US civil liberties and to the security of the world.

The left was saying the same thing about Ronald Reagan.

How many of you want to live under communism?

    You're 100% correct.
