Can PR go down?

    Sites can go up or down. If the sites linking to you lose some of their PR or they remove your link or Google discounts the value of the link, you will lose PR. That is the reason that you need to be always building up your back links.

    Don't forget payed links which are removed from google index, it lowers pagerank too.

    i answer yes yes yes. try and locate stable back links but searching out where your competitors have theirs or atleast thats what i do

    building links is really useful if you want to get high PR, page rank is not stable it goes up and then goes down :)

    My site at PR 3 for 2 years then last 3 months drop at PR2 then suddenly this month i got my PR3 back..so the answer is YES.

    yes.. If you do not maintained the inbound links and then to decrease the incoming links then PR is going down. PR depends only inbound and outbound links

    Doesn't mean traffic or higher traffic

    Rankings is all that mather
