It's not even clear whether I've been banned from widgetbucks or not. First, I get thousands of CPM's with no earnings. Then I email widgetbucks about this and they said they'll look into it, but they never get back to me on it. Then after I push for an answer, they reply and say that they've decided to ban some accounts to protect their advertisers and reputation. But they never directly say if I'm banned or not. In one sense, I seem to be banned cause my widgetbucks ads aren't even showing. But if I am banned, then how come I can log into my widgetbucks account normally? Furthermore, if I am banned then how come my CPM's keep going up? It makes no sense. I keep emailing widgetbucks support about this, marking the message as high priority, but they don't answer or explain anything at all. WEIRD, to say the least. WTF is going on?!
widgetbucks has been cheating publishers from long time.... i drop them yesterday.... because there give me 0.06 for 15 clicks...
your doing better then me with 37 clicks i could have made $40 at bidvertiser.... i think everybody should drop them like me.... then they will have no other option but to give higher CPC rates.... but right now they are giving only 0.8% from our total income.... so i guess for each clicks they are making around $1 from our visitors.... i been saying this from long time that they are cheating publishers and now you have proof.....
I also dropped them, because their statistic for cpm is so wrong. They show 150 page impressions for 15 days, but when I look to adsense it shows 180 cpm per day. My widgetbucks code is on the top of the page. I think they are chitin.
I was going to start a new thread, but then I thought I may as well follow suit and add my comments here. I am doing okay out of WidgetBucks but I am becoming seriously disillusioned with the cloak and dagger way they deal with their publishers. January 2008's earnings still aren't shown on my 'My Bucks' page. Why should it take nearly 3 weeks into the new month to confirm last month's earnings? It shouldn't is the answer. I worry that the reason WBs are taking so long to confirm last month's earnings is so that publishers forget exactly how much they are due thereby allowing WBs to round down their earnings without detection. I also don't like the way the blog is being moderated. I left a comment there a couple of weeks back: Predictably Team WidgetBucks replied that all was rosy and their reporting was bang up to date. Utter bollocks of course. When I submitted a follow up comment explaining that no CPM earnings had been credited to anyone's account up until that point in February they conveniently chose not to publish it. Their lack of transparency is beginning to worry me. And Dean, I know you read this, you'd be making a mistake to hack off too many big fish around here.
