Can You Make Money Online WITHOUT a Pagerank?

I know a lot of people tend to emphasize how important Google's Pagerank is, but can you make a lot of money online WITHOUT one?

I know more than likely you'll make more if you have a higher pagerank, but I see some people making a decent amount of money and they're PR0.

Honestly, I think if you market your product/site right, then you should be fine... but I just want to hear what others have to say about it?

 

bloggers usually make money through paid per post things. This is something that actually Google doesn't like. About make money online w/o pagerank, yes it's possible. Try other ways beside SEO. Anyway, SEO itself is not only about pagerank, it's not as important as few years ago.

Actually, I was just giving an example of what "I" think of making money without a PR with my article. I wanted to get an idea of what you guys think of Pagerank in general and if you can make money WITHOUT it.

Yes you can make a lot of money with ecommerce sites selling products, you dont need PR just good SERPs.

 

Affiliate marketing? i think alof of money is made through that

 

My site got penalized by google b/c of a few paid posts but its sorted now and will be back to pr5 soon but i'm still making money from people that donate money to me. I get a donation once in a while that adds up nicely around 700/900$ a month on average. Sometimes its a bit lower like 200$ and sometimes just around the 1k but overall the donations i get is my main income.

People like my software and i like their money.

 

Yes you can make money online without PR. The most obvious way is through PPC. But you can also make money through SEO without PR. PR and SEO are somewhat related but not as directly as some think.

I almost never even think about PR anymore. I find it to be mostly irrelevant unless you are in the business of selling links (which I am not.)

 

I make around $300 a month before google update my site to PR3.
PR is nothing mere than a number. Your visitors don't care about your PC. Traffic > PR

Ranking and traffic are what is important unless you are selling links

 

Well let's see when one of my websites was PR5 i was making not even 5$/day
Now it has PR3 and makes 15-20$

PR is useless
Een when you buy links you have to consider other things then PT niche backlinks of that site outgoing links etc if you buy only for PR you are a sucker

I make money with affiliate sales on a few newer sites without PR (using SEO and PPC). Not a lot of $ per site, but it all adds up.
