Google Webmaster Tools Question

    If a site shows at Webmaster Tool "Pages with external links" could this be counted as Backlinks? :) Hope you can answer my question. :D

    I guess that would be the case. and I believe that is the link that would be use in calculating your sites PR. but only you know this number not your competitor.

    No it's counted for inbound like not backlinks, it is 2 defrient things.

    Yes, that is a list of all your inbound links to your website registered by Google.

    Excuse me for jumping in on this one...

    What is the difference between inbound links and backlinks?

    I Google Webmaster tools, in the external links se3ctions is a list of pages on my site with innks....except that the homepage doesn't show at all. I know I have links pointint to my homepage, why doesn;t it show in ecternal links?

    Inbound links, incoming links, backlinks, etc all mean the same thing.

    Are you sure that inbound links and backlinks are dffrent?
