Need help with wordpress blog

    I have 2 suggestions:
    The first one is, since what you have there is not terribly difficult to recreate on a 3 column wordpress theme with widgets, is to make that whole destination (where you want your blog to go) your blog, instead of trying to fit it into that window, and use a 3 column theme...there are many that look exactly like that.

    The other is to use an RSS reader in that spot, and set it to show 5 or so of your last posts (exerpts or full), and readers will click through to the actual blog page.

    Both of those you can do yourself, (no offense to anyone offering paid services), and it is not incredibly difficult.

    Building a template can't be that hard..? Are there any templates that can just be embedded into another page smoothly and neatly via a php include?

    If you only want to display certain parts from the blog and not a full blog template then that can be done easily enough...
