Gangs of Muslims Riot for Sixth Night in the 2008 Cartoon Riots

Gangs of muslim rioters set fire to cars and garbage trucks in northern Copenhagen on Friday, the sixth night of rioting and vandalism that has spread from the capital to other Danish cities, police said on Saturday.

Reprint of the cartoon of the Prophet Mohammad in Danish newspapers have fuelled the riots.

Police arrested two Tunisians and a Dane of Moroccan descent on Tuesday for planning to kill the cartoonist, and 15 Danish papers reprinted the drawing on Wednesday in protest against the alleged plot to murder him.

What these people do for the sake of their religion is crazy, nobody can have a differing view to their strict islamic point of view (not even non-muslims)

I have never seen such ignorant close minded people, besides a few DP'ers who believe everything is a conspiracy.

I think Iran sponsored cartoons of Jesus, but I never see any Christians' riots. For Islam to be respected, they must rein in on those Muslim rioters first. These reports aren't going to portray Islam as a peaceful religion. Hoping that an Islamic leader of standing can come out to condemn these rioters.
These are really bad Public Relations.

Is Islam getting a bad rap or is the truth coming out?

This is why I dislike religion. At times it can be a good thing, but many people just take it too far.

We should protest the protesters. They have no problem with murdering someone. No problem with putting innocent people at risk and destroying other peoples property. I have no respect for them at all.

I agree with that wholeheartedly, we should protest against the protesters, they are claiming their rights are infringe, but in protesting they are infringing others' rights too.

For some cartoons? This is ridiculous, don't they have better things to do? How about working overtime to feed their families, doing social work to benefit society? Or even helping out at the local mosque?

The muslims are guests in Denmark and they don't know how to behave themselves.

If living in a muslim country is so great they can always go back where they came from.

IMHO, Yahoo did not specifically mentioned Muslim rioters, they just mentioned rioters. But at the end of the article they did mentioned several hundreds of Muslim protesters.

Oh really ? I live in denmark :)

They don't know how to behave ?
There is very few "muslims" who behave like that. And how can this be such a big story, what about the "danish" young people fight for their young house ? Almost whole Nørrebro was in fire.. Where is that ? Oh, the media didn't bring that ?

I think the media is afraid that they will be attacked also or it's part of being politically correct. Everyone knows who was resposible for the original cartoon riots in 2006.

The Mohammed cartoon crisis was sparked by the reprinting of the cartoons after the murder plot against Danish cartonist Kurt Westergaard by several people with a Muslim background.

You did catch at the bottom of the article the mention of several hundreds of Muslim protesters.

What did you call hundred of people in the street smashing windows and burning cars? I call the people doing that rioters.

Where are the 180,000 muslim signatures protesting all this violence? Oh wait they have better things to worry about like images on Wikipedia. What a total joke.

There should be maintenance of law and order, Denmark isn't doing a good job, if arrests and tear gas are needed, let there be more. They need to control their control, rioting will not stop by itself but will grow on and on and on as more people with too much time in their hands join in.
