you can get a domain (.com) through GoDaddy for $1.99 if you buy any other product. I usually buy two months of hosting at $3.99 each which is their smallest package and for the two months and the domain it comes to $10 and change, then ya have two months to work on the site with free hosting.

Name.com is the cheapest that I'm aware of; at least with a good name. Alternately, GoDaddy with coupon codes is pretty cheap, but it really depends on exactly what you're looking for.

I use GoDaddy because I can use coupon codes on renewing too. I never pay more than $6.95 for a domain name.

You could register a domain name at GoDaddy and use promo codes / coupons, so that discounts could be offered.. Good luck! ;)

I like Godaddy. $7.12 (inc ICANN fee) with a coupon, same goes with renewals.

It comes to being $1 or so more expensive than Name.com but I'm sticking to Godaddy for the time being because they're reliable and plus, its much easier to sell a site/domain with Godaddy.

some companies offer free or discounted domain names with purchase of web hosting. eg: godaddy

anyway depending on the domain extension prices do differ, normally .com $8
these days .info , .co.in, .in domain registration prices are reduced

MyDomain are offering domains for $7.61 with coupon "bargaincat.com" and it gets cheaper for bulk (just over $5 each) plus they have free privacy until the end of the month with coupon "FREEPRIVACY-MD".

You can get .com's etc for $6.95 at godaddy (plus icann fee) with a coupon or you can buy .info's for only $1.99 with coupon.
