Alex: thanks for the entry. It's very much appreciated. I am breathing a little heavy now: you entered several of my contests but never won. Now I must say again some feedback which you may not like: I like the background, I like how it's mainly red but at the same time I feel like you haven't made the right choice regarding fonts. I need this post card to make a bold statement and I feel like yours is a little hard to read. Perhaps the font needs to be bolder and white.

willhaynes: thanks for entering this. I like your entry. It's certainly got style. Just like you mentioned, you forgot the two undeniable facts. This is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of the post card. It's hard to judge without this most important slogan missing. I don't mind the grey but I am still leaning towards a mainly red background. Now, I am only providing feedback and am not asking for changes. You can change it if you wish but my aim is to provide feedback. For example the logo is too big and if you replaced the logo with two undeniable facts and then did it in reverse (instead of white red) it would probably be the one with the strongest chance.

vibinhari: thanks for the new one. I love the red background but something is still missing. Perhaps it's a little plain even though I may still pick it as a winner.

cykill: the only positive is how you used my logo in white. I love a simple red and white contrast. But everything else does not seem as easy to read. For example two undeniable facts also are not white and the font you used does not help to make the strong statement I am trying to achieve with this postcard

freerudite: regarding your question, yes you can use different shades of red

    thanks for the feedback.
I will make those changes if I get some time, I was actually thinking about making those exact same changes, so no biggie.

Off to bed for now, I'll be back in 10 or so hours... :D

Hey willhaynes, I am in a tough situation. I appreciate your effort and everyone else's who is entering my contests. I think it's the right thing to provide feedback. However, I don't want to ask for changes until I pick a winner, or at least the finalists. However I find it impossible to provide feedback without actually telling what I like/don't like about the design. To you and everyone else: it's up to you whether you want to do the changes. I appreciate your entries and I am simply providing feedback.

pzn: thanks for the entry. I only like the red background one. I am not sure about placing the text in a different order from what I initially asked. Also I am not a big fact of gradient. This is just a personal thing

sean: thanks for entering this. It's a stylish background and it's got potential. It is also easy to read (especially the top part) which is a big plus. The main title is missing (Two undeniable facts) and also at least on my screen it looks orange not red. You don't need to do any changes. I got an idea of your style and potential and will let you know if you're in the finalists and then it's up to you whether you want to do some changes in order to win.

freerudite: thanks for the entries. If I had to choose one it would be the bottom one. It could be improved (don't particularily like the mirror effect) but at the moment there are other entries I like more

vibinhari: I have a principle which is honesty is the best policy. Trust me, it's not that easy providing feedback especially when the feedback is not the positive one. It's great that you take pride in your work but remember, we are talking about individual opinions here. So just because I happen to think different from you it does not mean your designs are not great ;) So feel free to speak your mind, but remember proteindude also subscribes to this principle of speaking his mind :D

Thanks, I didn't know my text was out of order. As you said, if I'm in the finalists, I'll fix it up =).

will, I appreciate the positive attitude. I think (this word think means I am not fully convinced) I like yours the best. I may request some small changes such as a different font (something bolder perhaps) and may also ask for a small change to the logo such as having super supplements under the logo not next to the logo. But overall, I am getting a good idea of your style and capabilities so let me see when I am closer to making up my mind before I request some slight modifications.

hey davey, thanks for entering this. I really love my logo which was designed by one of the big guns here at dp. However I feel like your design is not on par with the logo. Others may disagree but I feel like your design is a little plain. I think it just misses some small touches to make it look good. Maybe a slightly different font and if the underline was thinner, perhaps this is all that's missing. And maybe if you had the complete logo not just the s? I am a little confused myself but I like to give detailed feedback.

Thanks for making me feel better ALEX. I really appreciate the positive attitude. What's that saying? Your attitude, not your aptitude will determine your altitude? I am not saying you have no aptitude but I am saying attitude is more important. I like this new try but there are also some other tough entries. While the background looks stylish, I am not sure you chose the right font for two undeniable facts.

pzn: it's certainly more creative but I'm not sure if I can say it's looking better. I just think it's just a touch harder to read

cn: thanks for the entry. It's got some potential but I think because of several other strong entries I will have to say no. I think yours is just a touch too hard to read because of the way it's positioned.

I will be posting a few entrys myself soon enough. Please wait.

Torrent, im not sure what you were talking about. technically 1 mm is equal to 3 pixels... not 11. But pixels cant be used as a measurement. You can have an image 100000x100000 pixels and yet it can still be printed on a small buisness card.
