Any clue what this means: українÑька ? It's supposed to mean "Ukrainian" but not sure. Does it work stand-alone?! I'm stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated!
your words seems wrong. nothing comes back up. ukrainian = українець, українка, українÑький I used this express Eng-Uk and Uk-Eng http://lingresua.tripod.com/online/ not sure aboutreliability
I checked that out also, but the word they suggest doesn't seem to be right also. Confusing the hell out of me. Thanks for all the help. Hope a native can confirm!
I am from Ukraine, yes ukrainian. It's comparable word. Lol, I am bad in that deep knowing of own languages, forgot it from school, but ... українÑька мова - Ukrainian, the Ukrainian language getjimmy, from Ukraine, not from Ukrainian
If you say it in English - Ukrainian - then yes, it can be used as stand alone word meaning Ukrainian language or for example I am Ukrainian or Ukrainian shoose . However if you ask here about using the word українÑька - in Ukrainian language then it is adjective and sometimes you CAN use it as a stand alone word similar to use of the word Ukrainian in English language, but not every time. In many times you will need a noun with it . Post here or PM me with what you need to say and I will speak it to you correctly or translate from English, coz every case is different, mate. Are you learning Ukrainian or have friends there? Anyway I would be very much happy to help you with it. Cheers.
