The Digital Point forum has certain rules and we already know them, BUT... ...what would be your recommendation for the entire D.P. community in order to make everyone's D.P. experience better?
I'll start it... My recommendation is: please write high value posts. Better have less posts, but the ones you have make really valuable, by posting verified and well-documented information.
well we all did post quality ones in other threads instead of DP underground and gen chats because those are forus to relax and release stress or go wander about anything. I dont know how to express it but I think DP does need to change few ways in Gen Chat though. As in preventing from SE crawl unworthy posts.
Just search and read sex, girlfriend, boyfriend and related threads in GC section and u will feel better.
Stops posts LikeR is updating / Why My PR is low / How can i earn money online / Why i'm making so less wih adsense you got the idea
Have an entire beginner's section (not just introductions) where all the seemingly obvious questions can be relocated (like w3bmaster's how can I earn money on line/why my PR is low, etc)
i agree.. repeating questions should be gone. I have seen many people, let alone searching the WHOLE forum, they dont even bother searching through A 'ONE' single long thread!
I think we can pool all the sticky together and put them in a sticky section. Whenever anyone has a doubt on any topic, he / she has to go to that sticky section, find out his broad category and read the concerned sticky thread. If not satisfied with the information available, he / she can be allowed to raise it under concerned section of the forum. This will avoid unnecessary repetition and will help to improve the quality of posts and increase the image of dp among the global netizens. Moderators! Are you listening?
It's possible that a few of such topics are useless. Even so, I am not sure that such posts should be not permitted, as anyone has the right to ask and to discuss any subject. The "Do a search before asking!" recommendation can't be used in every situation...
