I thought I would just ask here instead of making a new thread. I have had some work done from a boss and his employer. Would it be okay for me to give them both iTraders? They done half each, worked on it togeather.

    Hi all!

Im not one of the 3000plus post members here but im in the business for some years now.
I see a lot of forums, and plan on visiting this one daily for about an hour of 4 a day :)

Its a nice forum, with nice people. It could need some more mods controlling the place since i think its a big job at the moment (volunteering now, just hit me up ;))

My question, which i think has been asked:

Wouldnt it be a very good thing to let people in the freebies section get itrader too? I mean, some of them are doing more then a great job without getting money from it. They deserver a little positive feedback too right?

    Hello Gaap.

The sole reason for the freebies section being created was not to allow Itrader for low amount transactions. People used to offer $ 0.10- $1 jobs to a dozen people, take Itraders from them, and then use it to rip some others off. Anything below $5 goes in there.

If you wish to show your appreciation for what they are doing, you could give them reputation.

As you can see, there are quite a few around (About five of them were appointed recently)

    Great tutorial, thank you.

I have one question I've wondered for a while and I'm hoping it can be answered here.

If a user makes a bid in my B/S/T thread (I am the seller) and wins the auction, but then ignores my PMs and does not pay, can I leave negative iTrader?

This has happened to me before, and is currently occurring now. It drives me nuts, and I'd like to warn others to ignore bids by these individuals.

Its unlikely people do it since there afraid to get the same negative iTrader back but yes that is suitible for a negative iTrader.

Thanks for responding Shazz. I suppose this is the reason eBay has changed its policies regarding negative feedback.

I think I will be leaving the negative iTrader regardless of potential retaliation. I would not have accepted the bid if I had known this user was prone to such antics, and other sellers should be fairly warned. Besides, whatever negative feedback is left for me will have to reference the thread - so I'd like to hear what I did wrong.

Its unfair for a bidder to place a high bid and then not follow through with payment. I'd like to see this issue addressed, and will probably revisit it later.

Thanks again for your response. Cheers!

Props to you jdR!pper , was freaking useful to figure out what this was hehe.

I have a question about the required url...
Do you need to have a post *there* when you point the url in an itrade feedback, or does it just need the deal requirements?
Main reason why I ask this is because that was the sole reason why I left a "pm sent" msg in regards to the msg (was also why i thought everyone else did despite the fact that it does indeed run up your post count :p )
I am in no way complaining about this, I really just want to know if the itrader will even work if you haven't posted in the thread itself. Thanks :)
