I am looking for help from people who have domains on 1and1.com, I want to know how easy is transfer process from one accout to other account or from your account to outside account. Do they charge fees from one account to other account. Can you do push easly like it happens in Godaddy.

Any advise or steps in this diorection will be helpfull. There customer service is slow, theyu willpoint to their faq session.

    Thx

All I can say is I tried transfering a domain to 1and1 on Monday. On Tuesday I got an auto-generated email saying it failed for some weird reason (something to do with "security"?). I tried to resubmit, but their site said "this domain cannot be transfered". I sent an email. No answer. I sent another email 2 days later. No answer.

Finally I hopped over to Godaddy and submitted the order, and the whole thing was done in less than 12 hours.

I hope you have better luck dealing with 1and1 than I did.

Nothing is easy with 1&1 - that's why so many people hate them.

If it were me I would transfer all my domains away from 1&1 to another Registrar - Godaddy is good for wrestling domains away from unwilling registrars like NetSol and 1&1. That way, problem solved.

1 and 1 is mainly a hosting co. They are the worst for transferring anything. Real hard process. I have over 100 names with them & slowly getting them out.
No there is no Free push to another person.
If possible stay away from them in the future.

Yes but 1and1 has better prices then GoDaddy and free private registration...

However, I have never transferred out so I'm unsure of their speed.

Decide which domains you want to keep and transfer them to Godaddy (or another preferred registrar). Make certain you cancel those you do not wish to keep or you will get billed for them anyway - if you don't cancel you get billed.
