Favorite Natural Home Self Care Cold Remedies

    I'm so sick right now from a cold. I've been told zinc helps, vitamin c helps, warm water with honey and lemon, herbal tea, and many other things. But, nothing ever seems to work for me. Have you found something to really work for you to get over a cold faster? Please share what works for you.

    Nothing. Your body is fighting to heal itself, let it do its job. Don't eat much of anything, drink plenty and you'll be fine.

    Like I said in my other post, Laughter helps! Watch lots of funny clips online like on youtube or something

    2) Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from your body

    3) Get lots of rest/sleep

    But I have to admit I use dayquil/nyquil if I'm really desperate! But I go the natural way most of the time.

    take a hot bath or shower (workout before is optional)
    and grab hot tea, coffee or soup

    then focus on something (other than the cold of course)
