Hey guys ! I just found something interesting on someone's directory and wanted to share it out. It is about the Link Popularity Widget for detail pages - a free mod for phpLD v.3+ that looks like this : More info about the instalation & download can be found here : click me ! Thanks, hyper
Now it works, but your host is also very important. The results from the widget can be a liiiiitle bit different from a host to another, just as I saw with the widget from dargre(linkforever)
hyper, thanks for thread This mod fetching results by one php file and it is my working, not quotation, it's unique. Only required Curl Support Demo : please click any detail page on trsites.com Live search results page changed and i used this new results page's source in this script.
offtopic. why are you against new things ? The more we have the better it is...hit me if I'm wrong. Here you have a demo : click me ! hyper, Have a nice evening !
The link operator at MSN/Live was reactivated about three months ago. The operator is different, and I assume many of the older scripts were never updated to reflect this. +linkdomain:www.enteryourdomainnamehere.com
Yeah even mods name same. Seems the man found he can get some credits on my back... Whatever.. the code is far from safe, not using simple limits, not enough universal for php support, huge in output file... And don't ask for details as it is coder who should know it, and if not know it, that's really bad. And won't say a word of graphics used... That's what I noticed, but really I don't care it.
This mod if free, and I doubt that the owner wants to make some credits on your back. What I noticed is that only the MOD developers are against the idea. The monopoly is what we need to run of. To be honest I don't give a shit about how the new MOD was released or what impact has on some who have this mod paid, or whatever you want. I am just saying that for most directory owners, a variety of mods is great to have and we need to encourage those who are trying to release a new mod. Understandably...for the mod developers a new idea or product on the market is like a big hit, mostly when it is free and competes with them. I haven't tested the results yet, cause I didn't have time(I'm at work now ) and I haven't tried it yet. I only announced its release in here but let me tell you that I didn't expected some replies I got in here.
I'm curious if somebody will use it because as far as I see nobody seems to be interested in it. Too bad, it was free & useful. hyper
